2011Green Festival Guide
Compostables and electrical bulb requirements for vendors:
ALL VENDORS: ELECTRIC LIGHTING REQUIREMENTS
Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs) or Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs are required in all light fixtures at FloydFest, including small Christmas-type lights. CFL and LED bulbs have revolutionized energy-efficient lighting with their high energy-efficiency, and will help vendors make FloydFest a greener festival.
CONCESSIONAIRE/FOOD VENDORS: COMPOSTABLES GUIDELINES
FloydFest has implemented a FULL composting program and requires all food service items to be compostable. Failure to comply with these guidelines (BELOW) may result in removal from the Festival. In an effort to continue our commitment to recycling and composting, and because we experienced contamination of our composting stream at FloydFest 2010, we ask that in 2011 all food vendors utilize one source for your environmentally friendly food service products.
Across-the-Way Productions has teamed up with Dade Paper to offer low pricing on compostable food service products. Our contact at Dade Paper is Sales Manager Billy Powell who can be reached at 980-721-6885. Billy has a full range of products, and he assures us that his pricing is the lowest you will find.
It is important that all food vending establishments use the same compostable food products for our composting efforts to work at FloydFest. Partnering with Dade Paper will save you money and make our composting efforts efficient and successful. If you have any questions please contact Linda DeVito at the Across-the-Way Productions offices at 888-823-3787, Ext. 2.
