In 2013… we welcome you to the inaugural opening of DELTA LOT! (Formerly known as Power-to-the-People). DELTA Lot, located just minutes from our other parking areas, is a lovely, flat, partially wooded acreage where you can set up a sprawling camp. The below FAQs should answer any questions you may have regarding what you should bring, and what to expect on arrival. For any unanswered questions, or for additional information, please call 888-VA-FESTS or email info@floydfest.com. See you soon!
Who can park in DELTA Lot?
Any FloydFest ticket-holder can reserve either RV or Car Camping spaces by purchasing a Delta Lot Parking ticket. This lot has electrified and unplugged RV spaces. Car-camping is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. For those who don’t mind a short walk, there is the newly-revamped woodsy camping area! It’s the perfect shady spot! (Hint: Bring your ENO hammock.)
When can I arrive at DELTA Lot?
DELTA Lot opens at noon on Wednesday, July 24th, for your convenience. The FloydFest site opens and patron shuttles begin running on Thursday, July 25th.
How big is my space?
If you are arriving in an RV, you’ll have a 20×40 space. Car campers are allotted enough space for the vehicle and 2 average-sized tents.
Is there shade?
There is a beautiful wooded lot for those car-campers that don’t have to camp directly next to their vehicle.
How about water?
There will be a potable water tank for cooking, tooth brushing, sponge bathing, etc. Bottled drinking water will be available for sale at the Delta Lot Camp Store.
Can we have a campfire?
Sorry, but more often than not there are burn bans in effect, and we aren’t taking any chances! No fires allowed, although cook stoves are fine, as are the contained fire units. That said, there will be a centrally located community bonfire! Let the DELTA Block Par-tay begin!
Portojohns? Showers?
Yes and Yes!
Ice?
Yes, we will have ice and much more for sale at the Delta Lot camp store.
What’s the shuttle schedule to the DELTA lot?
The same as elsewhere: For those with VIP tickets noon-midnight Wednesday. For General Admission ticket-holders 9 AM-2 AM Thursday-Saturday, and 9 AM-9 PM Sunday.
What if I miss the last shuttle back to DELTA lot at 2 AM?
Please don’t. If you do, please make your way to the front gate area and be on the lookout for our overnight passenger shuttle van. The van will run no later than 3 AM with very limited availability.
Can I stay over Sunday night?
A perk of camping in Delta Lot is that you don’t have to leave Sunday! We’d love for you to stay the night and let the festival spirit linger! The “official” check-out time is noon on Monday… sadly all great things must come to an end.
How much electricity will RVs have, and do I need to bring any sort of special plug?
One standard 20 amp GFI receptacle will be available to each RV purchaser. If your RV is equipped with anything other than a standard plug-in, you will need to bring an adapter.
