Venue
The non-commercial beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the only linear National Park in the US, makes for a special FloydFest camping eXperience. That said, and as the Boy scouts say, Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance- and 4 nights and 3 days of primitive mountain camping does require preparation. The higher elevation means cooler temps, which at FloydFest, even in July, have on occasion dipped into the 40’s. Then there are critters, poison ivy, and our varied camping areas- ranging from ‘Quiet’ to ‘Semi-Quiet’ to ‘Not So Quiet.’ For more information about Camping at FloydFest, go to our Camping Page.
